Well just got back from a week’s stay in the holiday bungalow and what else can we say only that it was the perfect place for us. If you are looking for a little peace and quiet (apart from the gentle mooing of Daisy and Warty the cows) then this is the place for you. When we arrived we were welcomed by Jane and Darren and as Cameron said when we stepped inside “You have a lovely house.” It was modern, bright and airy and was equipped with everything you could want and more. The thoughtful extras were a bonus, milk in the fridge, ice-cream in the freezer and three delicious cupcakes on the side. We also found the takeaway/café menus very useful, as we could plan where we were going to eat when we went out and know how much you were going to pay. The bungalow is also ideally situated, there are several Seaside resorts a short drive away, such as Sutton on sea, Mablethorpe and Skegness. We particularly enjoyed parking the car at Sandilands and walking down the beach to Sutton on sea and beyond. Now considering this is a working farm/ice-cream parlour, nothing was too much trouble for Darren and Jane, Darren even taking time out of his busy schedule to take us around the farm and to show us the cows being milked. A big thank you to Darren, Jane, Carl, Pip and Jack, (Cameron enjoyed his game of football,) for making our holiday a very memorable one. Hope to be back some day. Stuart, Diane and Cameron.
